2010 Ducati unveils Hypermotard 796 for 2010

Ducati introduces a smaller, lighter, more affordable Hypermotard
For those Ducatisti who longed for a smaller and more affordable version of the Hypermotard 1100, Ducati has answered for 2010 with the new Hypermotard 796. Using an enlarged version of the air-cooled two-valve V-twin found in the Monster 696, the Hypermotard 796 powerplant cranks out a claimed 81 horsepower and 56 ft/lb of torque, and includes the APTC clutch that reduces both lever effort and back-torque during downshifting. The triple clamps have been “redesigned” (no specifics were available, although we’d venture to guess it probably means that the trail has been reduced for lighter steering effort), and the frame layout has been revamped to allow for a nearly one-inch-shorter seat height. Claimed dry weight is 368 pounds, which should make for an agile-handling supermoto machine
The Hypermotard 796 will be available at authorized Ducati showrooms beginning in December 2009. Color selections will include Ducati red, matte black, and matte white. MSRP for the Hypermotard 796 will be $9,995, joining the Monster 696 in Ducati’s sub- $10,000 price bracket; a bargain for the handmade Italian motorcycle.
The first public showing of the Hypermotard 796 will be at Milan’s EICMA international motorcycle show in November. Full information on the entire range of Ducati motorcycles can be found at www.ducati.com

Grizzly 09 - undressed - Just because the new Grizzly 700 is the lightest in its class, it meant that they did not fit the horses to have more animals? Yamaha does not seem to think, and they have great faith that he has much better handling than ever done before. It seems difficult to get a handle on this idea - throwing a paper airplane into the wind, and it has been hit hard - in order to reduce the weight of the ATV so that if you throw in a big stick, it does better - I start again, that ones position and let the money talk.

With the EPS system really is? I had to show good fortune a few years ago a new model from Vauxhall Drive, EPS, and the only fault I found at night, if you had a full and disco lights is the battery that the additional burden of EPS, which consists of a significant difference in the horses pulling the wagon. Is it because the Grizzly even easier?

Slipping one thing to another - which seems to point to 3-mode drive system, the winning point here, is the ability to run much more smoothly than ever - 4-stroke engine seems to respond well and gives a very smooth delivery directly to the program. Do they have the right to say: "This is probably the best power source for utility ATV?" Sorry to say - but they are!

SCOOTER RALLY MAN CATCHER MADNESS BUT ALWAYS TIME FOR LIPSTICK
SCOOTER RALLY MAN CATCHER MADNESS BUT ALWAYS TIME FOR LIPSTICK
--as you can see I managed to catch a few fellas—with surprisingly, little resistance. I think it was the red bra bait! What is a “Man Catcher” you ask? Well, after snaring men,
theyre then put through training courses (hence the army garb they wear once captured) and when ready they’re released for the greater good of woman-kind. They’re taught how to efficiently cater to women’s needs from all levels-- the etiquettes of domestic duties--taking out the garbage, cleaning & repairing motorcycles, washing the car –you get the idea!
The entire theme of the rally is ‘madness’ plus the fun of a competition to obtain “mad points”. Well, I didn’t do too well, yet not too badly either. But because I decided to speed through the rally (the roads were so fine)—I ended up flying by some valuable mad point opportunities. However, I did arrive 2nd back to home plate though, accompanied by Dean and Jason (thanks to their great map reading--by the way, thats another great benefit of the Man Catcher training program!--tsk tsk I know). Ah well, its always
about the ride for me— and this time, the added bonus of being surrounded along the way with such fun lovin’ crazies! I particularly enjoyed the antics of team "Zeppo". Gentlemanly nutty madmen who all brought such fun to the whole deal!
And yes, theres always time for lipstick--no matter the activity!
I’ve got to say that was the craziest fun I’ve had in a long time—huge kudos to Rob Harris of CMG for coming up with the entire idea! Thanks to KYMCO Canada for their major role as main sponsor and rally assist.
The event was a total blast! I am entirely addicted and can’t wait until the next one—2011! I didn’t tell you that my “Mad” entry was as the “Man Catcher”—The entire theme of the rally is ‘madness’ plus the fun of a competition to obtain “mad points”.
You will notice however, that a few of my men went “AWOL”! Here pictured one trying to get away on one of team Zeppo’s scooters— and the Zeppo’s were assisting!
And yes, theres always time for lipstick--no matter the activity!
